Kindness Through Contribution

Together, we weave kindness by providing non-perishable food to communities across Nunavut.

Who Can Participate

Everyone can take part — businesses and individuals alike — to help make a meaningful difference.

Provide Support

We welcome material support in the form of non-perishable food from manufacturers, distributors, and grocery chains.

Facilitate distribution.

We work closely with local partners to ensure food reaches those who need it most, efficiently and respectfully.

Establish Relationships

Through collaboration, we build lasting relationships with volunteers and donors, creating a sustainable network of kindness for the future.

Ideas to Action

2025 marked a remarkable milestone for A Tapestry of Kindness — the successful coordination and delivery of our very first shipment of non-perishable food to Gjoa Haven, Nunavut.

Help make a difference

Non-perishable food delivered to Nunavut communities via Sealift.
Each shipment can carry up to 48,000 lbs of food.
Food is organized into hampers for families.

Addresses food insecurity in vulnerable communities
Supports the nutritional needs and well-being of children
Promotes mental well-being through food security
